Mrs Kapovic starts the week every Monday by focussing our week’s learning on a theme; this is often based upon the ‘be the best you can be’ initiaitive or on having a ‘growth mindset’. On alternate Wednesdays KS1 have ‘Open the Book’ assembly where a team of local Christians teach the children Bible stories. On Thursdays we get the opportunity to sing with Mrs Torrance and on Friday the whole school community gathers for our end of the week celebration assembly which parents are invited to join us for.

Drop-off and collection
At the beginning and end of the school day, parents are welcomed and encouraged into the school playground – we endeavour to have good links with all our parents and carers. If normal arrangements have to be altered (e.g. you are delayed or another person is collecting your child), please let us know as soon as possible. This avoids any confusion or upset.
To get to and from school, walking is definitely the healthiest and most preferred option. If you do bring a car can we please ask that you do not park it in the school car park.
